About the Test

The test consists of 100 Multiple-choice questions. Total allowed is 2 hours. The Subject part of  the test is based on descriptions of laboratory and field situations. The questions are based on the out lines provided by NTS, but over all strong knowledge and underlying  of Botany are required to have higher score.  Approximate weight of  each of the topics has given in the out lines topics. While the General part evaluate your general abilities of analysis and problem solving in complex situations.
GAT Subject Test scores are accepted by ALL of graduate schools in Pakistan, including individual departments or divisions within these schools. Although the scores may not be a only requirement for admission to a particular program, admissions committees consider the scores as a factor for the evaluation of the suitability of the applicant for postgraduate studies. It's best to contact the admissions office or department you're interested in and see exactly what they're looking for.
